Largest diamond in universe worth five million trillion trillion pounds

Still drooling over the big green tinged diamond dug out in South Africa and the largest D-color flawless diamond? Astronomers have now found the largest diamond of all times in space. Its weight is being reported to make up ten billion trillion trillion carats or five million trillion trillion pounds. This gigantic space diamond is virtually a huge hunk of crystallized carbon, 4,000 kilometers in diameter. The space diamond has been christened Lucy in a tribute to the Beatles song ‘Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds.’ The precious stone is floating in space at a distance of 50 light years away, in the Constellation Centaurus. Lucy, also called BPM 37093, is in fact a crystallized white dwarf. It is being believed that the diamond is the heart of a dead star that used to shine like the Sun. Unfortunately, nobody will be able to lay his/her hands on the biggest ever diamond found floating in space.
