Nokia 5800 XpressMedia Tube

Some more dope on Nokia Tube the alleged iPhone killer from the Finnish giant. If rumors are to be believed its official name will be Nokia 5800 Tube. The Quad Band GSM phone will support 3G and feature a 3.2 inch touchscreen (640 x 360 pixels) with support for Tactile Feedback, a new technology which transforms traditional passive touchscreens into active displays that “come alive” by making graphical buttons seem to press and release like physical buttons. When compared to the iPhone the Nokia 5800 does score big on specs as it packs in a 3.2 Megapixel camera with video and auto focus (5 Megapixel would not hurt), GPS, TV-out, 3.5mm headphone port, Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA and 140MB of internal memory. The Nokia 5800 Tube measures 111 x 52 x 14.5 mm and weighs 104 grams. Now here comes the sad part it is scheduled to release in the first half of 2009. I wonder what will Apple, Samsung, LG and Sony Ericsson have in store by then.
